Member of Parliament (MP) for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor has denied stories circulating that he referred to Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings as the “Daughter of a Murderer”.
He urged the public to disregard any suggestion that he made unsavory comments about “Hon. Dr. Zanetor Rawlings while she was on her feet on the floor of Parliament contributing to a statement.”
He wrote on his X page that “he said allegation is absolutely false.”
The MP indicated that he holds the late President Jerry John Rawlings in high esteem, and holds utmost respect for his family and daughter Dr. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings.
The politician revealed the late President Jerry John Rawlings played a role in shaping his political career, and “the late President Jerry John Rawlings.”
He emphatically stated that he will in no way ever denigrate the Rawling’s in any form or shape.
“I have always believed in decent debates and intellectual discourse in Ghanaian public life and Parliament especially, devoid of insults and character assassination!” he added.
