Isaac Adongo, the Bolgatanga Central Member of Parliament (MP) has broken his silence after he was snubbed by John Mahama in his first batch of deputy ministers.
According to Isaac Adongo, he knows everyone in his constituency is disappointed but they must remain calm and trust in the president.
He asserted that the NDC has a country to run for fours and John Mahama needs everyone’s support to succeed.
In a statement addressing the tension among some youth in the constituency, Isaac Adongo stated, “I know everyone is disappointed, but I urge you all to remain calm and trust in H.E’s judgment. We have a country to run for four years, and he needs our support to succeed,”
“My only job you gave me is as an MP and not a minister, and I will do my best to give off my best. It’s well. Our time will come”, he added.
Isaac Adongo added that he has absolute confidence those nominated by John Mahama will help him achieve his vision.
“I have absolute confidence in the ability of my colleagues to assist H.E. to achieve his vision. Don’t disturb the peace of my beloved Bolga Central in my name. I didn’t work to get JM to return to power just for you to embarrass him”, Isaac Adongo boldly added.
Meanwhile, five deputy ministerial positions remain for John Mahama to fill to achieve the 60 ministers target he promised the people of Ghana.
