Ghanaian journalist and media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has said she has never experienced being offered a position in exchange for sex.
According to Nana Aba Anamoah, most women in her DMs ask her for advice but she struggles to advice them since she has not been through that situation before so her advice will be pedestrian.
Nana Aba Anamoah revealed she set up the Women of Valour platform to be able to provide other females ask questions and get experienced answers from people who may have lived through these encounters.
She added that Women of Valour celebrates encouragement and resilience because women are underestimated.
Speaking on United Showbiz, Nana Aba Anamoah detailed, “Most of the time the questions they are asking I am a woman, but have not experienced it, most of the time women who are looking for jobs and somebody wants to exchange the position for sex, I have never experienced that in my life, since I started to work, no man has told me to give him something before he gives me work. It never happened to me”.
“So when it happens to another woman and she comes to me for advice, I struggle to give advice; the advice I may give will be pedestrian because I’ve not lived it. So questions like those led me to create a platform where women can come together as a unit because what women have to do is to collaborate,” she said.
Nana Aba Anamoah further added that women need to come together to collaborate, she added that it is rubbish to suggest women are their own enemies.
