I feel pained, people want to do propaganda with vetting chaos – Jerry Ahmed Shaib

The Weija Gbawe member of parliament Jerry Ahmed Shaib has revealed he feels very pained that people want to do propaganda with vetting chaos.

According to the Weija Gbawe member of parliament, he was one of the members of parliament who was trying to pipe people down.

Jerry Ahmed Shaib revealed the whole day he had only eaten one Kofi broke man and anytime they tried to stand they brought reports for approval.

Speaking on Joy Prime, Jerry Ahmed Shaib stated, “I feel very sad about it, I feel pained, why will people just… unless people want to do propaganda and decided to use a certain portion of the video where they only saw me pushing back?”

“There was no time, if you watch the video clearly I was one person going around to pipe people down and it was sad”, he added.

Jerry Ahmad Shaib speaking to the media after the heated clash, stated, “I was having a chat with him, telling him that it was late we agreed at the conclave that we were going to do four, and we have done six, neither as it may he is a very good friend of mine, I think he should always understand we are tired”.

“When the brain is tired, it is tired what work can you do when the brain is tired, we agreed four and anybody who will say something else I don’t know”, he added.

The Majority Chief whip Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor and the minority chief whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli and Jerry Ahmed Shaib were suspended following the heated clash that occurred on Thursday, January 30, 2025, when Okudzeto and Akandoh were awaiting their turn to be vetted.

Speaker Bagbin has lifted the suspension on the four MPs and insisted an investigation into the chaos continue and a report will be brought to the house for a decision to be taken.

However, the minority in parliament refuse to show up to the committee investigating the vetting chaos.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Appointment Committee of Parliament Bernard Ahaifor has revealed Jerry Ahmed Shaib acted under Afenyo Markin’s instruction to disrupt the vetting process.
