Dr Kwaku Oteng the founder and President of Angel Broadcasting Network has said he is not yet a billionaire.
According to Dr Kwaku Oteng, God has been good to me as he started as a carpenter.
The Angel CEO revealed that he started selling Angel Cream in the 90s but before that, he was a carpenter.
He revealed that he dealt with room furniture, room dividers, beds, wardrobes and other items.
Speaking in a conversation on Angel FM on February 17, 2025, Kwaku Oteng narrated,”I am not yet a billionaire but God has been good to me. I began in the 90s selling Angel Cream those days, but before that, I was a carpenter, I dealt with room stuff furniture, room dividers, beds, wardrobes and other items, I was doing it all, and that is where I started”.
“After that, I started Angel Cream, the Angel Cream story is long, I started in 1995 there is no house in Kumasi that I have not visited to sell my medicine”, he added.
Dr Kwaku Oteng further added, “I had my products with me moving from market to market, entering houses. At times, dogs scared me away when I entered people’s homes. I sold the Angel Cream and God blessed me through that. I was doing a day-night production. I started the Angel Cream business with my wife and one other person whose mum died, that I was looking after”.
The philanthropist also revealed how ladies in his area used to mock him for selling medicine on his head.
Dr Kwaku Oteng is now a well-known Ghanaian businessman with successful ventures in media, health, and herbal medicine.
The renowned Ghanaian philanthropist although there have been claims he is married to five or six wives has refuted that he only has two wives.
