The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the interdiction of Adams Mahama Issahaku, headmaster of Piina Senior High School, following a directive from the Director-General.
Adams Mahama Issahaku, who was the former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Wa East during the administration of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, was apprehended by some youth of Piina.
The headmaster was caught on Thursday, February 6, 2025, by the Lambussie Police while smuggling food items.
This immediate action is linked to an ongoing investigation into allegations concerning food items discovered in Mr Issahaku’s official pick-up vehicle while he was travelling from Piina SHS to Wa on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
Meanwhile, the GES has assured stakeholders of a thorough investigation, stating that Mr Issahaku would be informed of the findings and any further decisions.
