Popular relationship counsellor, Charlotte Oduro says she does not believing in going through healing whenever she suffers betrayal and loss.
According to her, she has never gone through a healing phase in a her life, describing healing as a luxury for “the estate ladies.”
Appearing in an interview with Gifty Anti, she was told she had a lot of healing to do, and she quickly retorted, “Ooh me, for the zongos you don’t heal, we move. What is healing? We are using healing for the estate ladies. We have never healed in our lives. Jesus never healed, he died like that.. I am not healing I am moving. I am not wasting time to heal, what am I healing from? I am going through it and I am moving. Until Jesus comes, ooh we move, we go enjoy life.”
Rev. Charlotte Oduro and husband, Apostle Solomon Oduro dissolved their marriage in the early part of February 2025.
The two, who had been separated for three (3) years have finally announced their divorce.
In a press release dated Monday, 10 February 2025, Apostle Solomon Oduro disclosed that they had their traditional marriage formally dissolved last year.
The announcement comes after months of speculation regarding the couple’s relationship status.
Although according to Apostle Solomon Oduro the two had on several occasions attempted to salvage their marriage, their differences which could not be reconciled led to the dissolution of their marriage.
He described the divorce as a tough decision following years of reflection and spiritual guidance.
“It is with a deep sense of responsibility and solemn reflection that I officially announce the dissolution of my marriage to Rev. Charlotte Oduro. This decision was reached after much prayer, discussion, and careful consideration.”
“At this juncture, I earnestly call upon my loved ones, well-wishers, and the Body of Christ to uphold both myself and Rev. Charlotte Oduro in prayer. I remain committed to my divine calling—the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ—and humbly seek grace and support as we both navigate this new chapter of our lives,” portions of the statement read.
The news has come as a surprise to many Ghanaians who perceived the duo as a power couple and an ideal couple for all.
Rev. Charlotte Oduro who has always said she would never a divorce in her lifetime is yet to comment on the divorce.
