Fatimatu Abubakar the former Minister of Information has mocked the communication minister Sam George.

According to Fatimatu Abubakar, Dzata has turned into a pussy cat meow.

Fatimatu Abubakar asserted that in opposition he claimed real men take care of their wives, now they say my wife takes care of me.

Her comments come as Sam George revealed at his vetting that his wife takes care of him.

During Sam George’s vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee, Afenyo Markin questioned his source of funding for his UK study program.

Sam George at the vetting stated, “ Mr Chairman I am married to a very industrious woman. I mean my wife takes care of me”.

Fatimatu Abubakar revealed that the girls on the streets are saying Dzata has now turned into a pussy cat meow.

Speaking in an interview on Movement TV on February 16, 2025, Fatimatu Abubakar stated, “In opposition, they said real men take care of their wife, now they say my wife take care of me, do you know what the girls are saying on the streets, they are saying the Dzata has turned into a pussy cat meow. Right now Ghana has turned into a comedy channel, people are really entertained”.

The former minister further mocked the National Democratic Congress Members of Parliament.

According to Fatimatu Abubakar the NDC MPs are struggling to speak English in the chamber.

She asserted that despite the NDC having a supermajority in parliament they seem to have become the minority due to their inability to speak English.

Fatimatu Abubakar revealed, “There is a saying that in all things, we should give glory to God because if this hadn’t happened, we wouldn’t have learned a lesson. Someone told me, Minister, it seems the NPP looks better than the NDC in power.”

She added, “Now that we are in opposition, just look at Parliament, now the Minority has turned into the Majority because of English. People are really struggling to speak English in the chamber.
