According to Oliver Vormawor, the Pandora’s box needs to be opened for Ghanaians to see what happened over the past years.

The social activist noted that he was arrested over E-levy, and he was put in jail and tried for treason over E-levy.

Speaking on TV3’s Key Point, Oliver Vormawor stated, “ I myself sitting here was arrested over E-levy, I was put in jail and tried with treason over E-levy, what are we talking about?”

“I am back in court on Monday, on that charge, the Attorney General has spoken to me and given me assurance he is going to file a nolle prosequi in that matter, and he has determined those charges will be basic.

A class one pupil can tell you it was, in fact for three years no step has been taken on that matter, so people have weaponized our Judicial system and you were talking about opening Pandora’s box, yes we must open the box, we must allow Ghanaians to see what has happened over the past few years. What we had was a regime that was committed to destroying our democracy”, he added.

Vormawor in a post on social media also revealed Judges under the Akufo-Addo regime lived in fear.

According to Oliver Barker-Vormawor, the Akufo-Addo regime transferred any judge who refused to do their bidding and shamelessly promoted those who did their bidding.

He wrote, “I heard Godfred Dummy talk today about attack on the Judiciary and I laugh. Hogwash!,  they have the audacity to cry about attacks on the judiciary? Attack my foot. Every judge in this country lived in fear under their rule. They transferred any judge who refused to do their bidding and shamelessly promoted sycophants at will.

They have politicized and packed our judiciary to the extent that no one approaching the courts today genuinely believes they will receive justice. This is the cancer we must excise—regardless of political party”, he added.
