Kevin Taylor a US-based vlogger has mocked the minority leader of parliament, Alexander Afenyo Markin.
According to Kevin Taylor, Afenyo Markin does whatever the National Democratic Congress (NDC) want.
His comments come as Alexander Afenyo-Markin responded to reasons behind his refusal to ask the Minister nominee for the Greater Accra Region any questions during her vetting.
Kevin Taylor wrote on X, “ This should tell the@nppghanahq@NPP_GHsympathizers that CRIMINAL NUMBER 99 is in parliament for his own good but not for the good of his party and country because per his defense he does whatever the NDC want😂😂😂😂”
According to the minority leader, he was begged Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo could not withstand scrutiny.
Speaking on the GTV Breakfast show on February 3, 2025, Afenyo Markin details, “If you ask, they came begging that the woman could not stand the scrutiny so we just let her go.”
“We decided to let it be but their side should’ve asked questions. They were begging that the person could not stand the heat, because obviously they say she is a widow. They say the woman cannot stand the scrutiny and had other challenges so we let it go.”
Afenyo Marlin refused to reveal who the “they” he referred to were and added that “after all she qualified under article 78 so we let it go.”
