He asserted that he was surprised that, for the first time in his history, a villager to whom he offered GHS50 to go and vote in the December 2024 elections rejected the money.

Speaking on Peace FM, Samuel Ayeh-Paye narrated, “To my surprise the first time in my history, I had 50 cedis and I gave it to someone to go and vote, he boldly told me he was not voting for me so he wouldn’t take the money”.

“He indeed did not take the money and also did not vote, so what happened, some will say they won’t vote, others said if you give them money they will go. That is how it had gotten, for a villager in the village to refuse 50 cedis to say he won’t for NPP so he will not take the money”, he added.

Samuel Ayeh-Paye further boldly declared the New Patriotic Party(NPP) would come back to power in the 2028 election.

“When we come again, we will come again in 2028, I am giving you one year go and do research again”, he boldly added.

Meanwhile, The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salam Mustapha has boldly stated the 2024 election defeat signals the uncles in NPP must leave the party for the youth.

According to Salam Mustapha, former President Akufo-Addo appointed many young people to his government and they performed well so they are capable of handling the affairs of the party.

Salam Mustapha thanked the oldies for establishing the party but revealed that when the youths need advice they would come to the older generation for advice.

Speaking on Peace FM, Salam Mustapha detailed, “The old generation we thank them, 1992 when they established the party for us, we thank them, but we are the ones holding the party, now it is the party of the youth, our uncles should leave the party for us, and that is what this particular results had communicated to us”.

“We can do it, we are capable, Nana Addo Dankwah appointed a lot of young people who performed well, Abu Jinapor, Sammi Awuku, and Asenso Boakye if I want to mention names we would not finish now.”, he added.

Salam Mustapha further added, “With respect, they should go if we want advice we would come to them for advice for us to work with. This is why I am telling all the youths this is the time to arise and shine this is the time to stake your claim.

Because I won’t go and work then after the elections when there is a victory I will go and mention names that this person also worked, Sammy Gyamfi and the rest that have gained positions it is because the work they did was visible”, he noted.
