Speaking on TV3 Keypoints on  February 1, 2025, he detailed, “Setting up the committee by JM was a masterstroke, that much I believe so if we hadn’t started this early, what would have happened is that by the time the government settled a lot of bad stuff would have gone through, with the early setting up of the committee it served as a check at least to some extent, it cannot be 100 per cent perfect but it is a reasonable check”.

Martin Kpebu further went on to detail some of the works of the ORAL committee, saying, “Even in this preparatory state as you mention we don’t have the mandate to do vigorous investigations and prosecutions right, we are just gathering evidence, and even at this gathering stage, based on some of the petitions that we saw straight away we reported to the Police and National Security and they were able to take action.

Yesterday at Hon Ablakwa’s vetting he was able to show that we have saved 20 bungalows that were about to go down in cantonment and you look at the lands those are millions of dollars, not Ghana cedis because they were coming to demolish and do some transactions”, he added.

He added, “You remember the NDA matter too, the practitioner of that land sold to a private developer we went and we reported to the National Security and using the police they were able to do the needful, so those were halted.

The agric mechanization land those empty plots there who is going to build on them, they are not going to be built, so those too that is a land that has been recovered for the state, so, you will see a lot more in fact, ones we are citizenships if we see anything wrong we are allowed to report”, Martin Kpebu detailed.
