A five-month-old baby has sadly loss her live in Bawku.
The tragic incident occurred after some assailants forcibly took her from her mother and violently crushed her to the ground, killing her instantly.
The grieving mother was reportedly ambushed by the attackers, when she had stepped out to trade and was subjected to a brutal beating, and had her infant daughter snatched from her before the horrific act was committed.
This horrific incident marks yet another casualty in the ongoing conflict in Bawku and along the Bolgatanga-Tamale highway.
