Afenyo Markin the minority leader has teased the Deputy Majority Leader, Armah Kofi Buah.
According to Afenyo Markin Armah, Kofi Buah’s nomination as a minister under the John Mahama administration has been delayed and he should go and pray.
He noted that if it were to be him, he would not be at the appointment committee of parliament, he would be praying.
Afenyo Markin made these remarks during the vetting of Eric Opoku the minister-designate for Agric.
He stated, “Why are you acting this way, you are supposed to be nominated, your good conduct, your nominations have been delayed, and you are not going to pray, if I were you I wouldn’t be coming here taking a fight with the minority leader, how will I pray for you”.
“Can you leave here and go and pray, your thing has been delayed, all your colleagues have their names out, your has been delayed and you are still coming here sharing power”, he added.
Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah however stated, that he loves to be here, and he belongs on the appointment committee.
Afenyo Markin parliament boldly predicted that he knew where some of the Majority MPs would be assigned when President Mahama started naming his ministers.
According to Afenyo-Markin, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah would be appointed as the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources.
Meanwhile, in President Mahama’s latest ministerial nominations, Afenyo Markin predicted right with Armah Kofi Buah officially announced as the minister-designate for Lands and Natural resources.
