US-based Ghanaian social commentator, Kevin Taylor has warned Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu (MP) of the implications on his demand for Emeafa Hardcastle to offer an apology to Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
According to him such comments may make him (Haruna Iddrisu) likeable by the Ghanaian populace, but the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party grassroots will not forgive him for siding with the opposition.
Haruna Iddrisu (MP) chastised the CEO of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle for “insulting” Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
He described the actions of Emeafa Hardcastle as one that must not be condoned, charging, “This house must stand united in condemning the conduct and in demanding an apology and retraction of it.”
Haruna Iddrisu charged Emeafa to offer a public apology to Frank Annoh-Dompreh on the matter.
His demands however did not sit well with party grassroot as they believe Haruna Iddrisu should have sided with their own, in this case Emeafa Hardcastle.
Kevin Taylor sided with this assertion when he wrote on his X page, “Haruna Iddrisu you need to understand that your utterances today will turn you into an Alan Kyeremanteng in the NDC. This is an advise and put a pin in it. Thank you.”
