Ghanaian social media users aligned with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have rejected any possibility of Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu vying for the coveted position of the party’s flagbearer.
To them, the recent stunt pulled by the MP on the matter between Ag. CEO of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle and Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
Haruna Iddrisu has come under heavy criticism from members of his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for publicly condemning Emeafa Hardcastle for her confrontation with Frank Annoh-Dompreh,
According to them, he should have protected Emeafa rather than throw in his lot with the opposition.
His actions have garnered suspicion from the grassroots as they believe he is in cahoots with the NPP.
These pro-NDC netizens also claim Haruna Iddrisu is full of himself and have no care whatsoever for the party’s grassroots.
“NDC should dare not consider Haruna or Muntaka as flagbearer. They are full of themselves and care less about the grassroot.”
The party grassroot say they do not want any leaders who want to please political opponents and are watching closely every move of Haruna Iddrisu.
