Deputy Minority Leader, Armah Kofi Buah has reminded President Akufo-Addo that he left out his promise to God to build him a National Cathedral during his final SONA address in parliament.
According to the Deputy Minority leader, he would leave that between President Akufo-Addo and his God.
Kofi Buah noted that President Akufo-Addo at the beginning of his 8-year term as president of Ghana was cushioned by the IMF and as he is exiting office he is still being cushioned by the IMF.
Speaking in parliament after President Akufo-Addo delivered his final SONA, Kofi Buah stated, “You were cushioned by the IMF when you began, and you are still being cushioned at the end of your term”.
“Mr. President you left something very important in your account, you left out an account of your promise to God to build him a Cathedral, but Mr. President I will leave that between you and your God”, he added.
The deputy minority leader further emphasized, “Let me remind his excellency honorable speaker, that his tenure in office will remain a timely reminder of how not to govern a country but let me also be quick to assure the good people of Ghana that hope is on its way”.
“In President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC, we can once again glen a brighter future from the trolls of despair, together we will work hard to lift ourselves from this historic low and reclaim our place, our glory as the Black star of Africa once again”, he added.
