A video has surfaced of the minority leader of parliament Afenyo Markin in a heated clash in parliament yesterday 30 January 2025.
According to Afenyo-Markin, the NPP minority in parliament is ready to die.
A heated clash occurred on Thursday, January 30, 2025, when Okudzeto and Akandoh were awaiting their turn to be vetted.
The minority group hinted at ending the day’s vetting at Minister for Transport-designate, Joseph Nikpe. The majority however insisted on the vetting of the duo to proceed, which the minority vehemently opposed.
The minority members were heard saying “It is not happening” while some majority members said, “If you’re tired go”.
Amid the chaos, the minority leader was heard saying, “We are ready to die”.
Amid the violence, the tables and microphones of the committee were broken.
