Founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has expressed doubt about President Akufo-Addo leaving any legacy behind as his tenure comes to an end.
According to him, pinpointing any legacy of Akufo-Addo “will be a bit of a problem to me.”
The politicians recalled back in 2016 when he told Ghanaians they will regret voting Akufo-Addo to office as president.
“I said look Ghanaians will regret terribly for voting him (Akufo-Addo) to power since 2016. So, if you ask me if there is any legacy, his reign definitely shows.”
When asked if he thinks Akufo-Addo has left anything positive behind, Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe retorted, “what positive?”
His comments follow the last State of the Nation (SONA) of President Akufo-Addo which has been criticized extensively by the opposition.
Some of them have described Akufo-Addo’s tenure as a constant reminder of how not to govern a country.
