President Akufo-Addo has given president-elect John Dramani Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang a tour of the seat of government.
On Monday, January 6, President Akufo-Addo took John Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana on the tour an opportunity for them to make them acquainted with the Jubilee House.
In a video shared by TV3 Ghana on social media, President Akufo-Addo was captured with the president-elect and his vice as they tour the Jubilee House ahead of John Mahama official swearing in as President of Ghana tomorrow.
President Akufo-Addo term in office will officially end tomorrow with John Mahama swearing in ceremony taking place at the Black Star Square.
Meanwhile, before that the legislative arm of government newly elected Members of Parliament in the December polls will be sworn in at midnight today January 6, 2025, to signify the commencement of the 9th Parliament.
In the inaugural session, there will be the election of a speaker of parliament and two deputy Speakers for the 9TH Parliament.
