A full blown out confrontation between the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle and Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh constituency rocked parliament today, January 28, 2025.
The altercation resulted in Annoh-Dompreh being described as a silly child by , Emeafa Hardcastle.
Emeafa Hardcastle who was in parliament today for the vetting of Dr. Omane Boamah, Minister of Defence-designate ended up referring to the minority caucus as “micro minority” as they were returning from reccess.
Annoh-Dompreh did not take lightly the reference and declared he will take Emeafa on for that comment.
Emeafa who would also not have it retorted, “You’re threatening me that you will take me on. You’re who? My friend don’t bring yourself. What do you mean by taking me on what does that phrase mean? “
“But you’re micro minority. Doesn’t Afenyo-Markin himself use that phrase? Don’t bring yourself, I don’t have time for silly things…you think you can bully me here,” she retorted.
Emeafa who turned to speak to someone close by explaining the incident to them then referred to Annoh-Dompreh “this silly child there.”
Annoh-Dompreh was taken aback by her comment, promising to deal with her.
“You heard the world she used. She called me silly. You called me silly? We will deal with this matter,” he declared.
