Yagbonwura Jira Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I and his entourage have arrived in the capital, Accra for the inauguration of president-elect, John Dramani Mahama.
His arrival was marked with a rich display of culture accompanied with drumming and singing.
President-elect, John Mahama is a royal of Gonjaland and in essence, is the grandson of the Yagbonwura.
Many other dignitaries will be visiting the capital to attended John Mahama’s inauguration.
The Ministry of Information has announced that, 21 Heads of Stated from Africa and beyond would be attending the inauguration ceremony of President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025.
According to a statement by the Ministry, three (3) Vice Presidents, 4 Ministers and 24 envoys have been invited to attend the inauguration ceremony as well.
The inauguration will take place at the independence square tomorrow, January 7, 2025.
