Staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Appiah Stadium received a jovial knock from President John Mahama during the presidential dinner held in his honor at the Accra International Conference Centre after his inauguration.
Appiah Stadium who was present during the dinner shared a moment with President Mahama.
The two were engaged in an inaudible conversation at the dinner.
Before the conversation, President Mahama was seen grabbing Appiah Stadium’s head and knocking him on the head amidst smiles.
Appiah Stadium in retaliation held the president’s hand, turned it and kissed it at the back.
Although it is unclear what led to the knock, Appiah Stadium is considered a close friend to the Mahama family.
Appiah Stadium calls Mahama his father and the knock may only be a father jokingly knocking his son on the heard.
