Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah interchange, popularly known as Circle, has been turned into a refuse dump.
In a video shared on X, the under of the overpass has become a dumping site.
The site which is a prime area and records a high level of footfall has become the dumping grounds of traders and some residents in and around circle.
In the past, the zoomlion used to collect the refuse from the area on a daily basis, but now, the refuse has been left there to rot.
Now, Circle which is a hub of trading and some vices such as prostitution, theft and fraudulent activities has now sadly earned another bad name with the under of the overhead being turned into a dumping site.
Social media users have expressed shock over this sight, with some sharing similar incidences in certain parts of the country.

@Blaqboy_Jide – The Zoomlion man is busy sharing gift in his backyard. Meanwhile he’s under paying his workers and not even paying on time ‘ALLEGEDLY’. Watch this space, in 4 years time he be standing for MP.
@Northside_Vano – It’s very bad, there’s used to be a pile of rubbish there but not like this. It’s like they keep dumping more refuse there and I wonder how for a place so busy no one sees the perpetrators.
