The Kwadaso wood market in the Ashanti Region has been burnt to the ground again.
This fire follows the first which happened exactly two weeks ago.
The fire is said to have started last night and has caused extensive damage to property running into millions of cedis.
The cause of the fire is still yet to be identified.
In a video shared on X, some shop owners in the market while awaiting the fire service were seen attempting to douse the fire with pails of water.
2025 has been a year of fires in Ghana as some notable markets in the nation have been gutted by fire.
The new year market fires began in Accra when the popular used clothing market, Kantamanto was gutted by fire.
It was suspected that either an electrical fault of arson was the cause of the fire.
