The vetting of Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, Governs Agbodza took a turn, which led to a funny altercation between Tamale Central MP, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed and Abetifi MP, Bryan Acheampong.
From the video circulating online, it seems the two had an argument that ended in Murtala Mohammed referencing his public school education to deal the last blow to Bryan Acheampong.
“The difference between myself and you is that I attended Syto (Public School), but we’re here together,” he said.
He went on to taunt Bryan Acheampong who prior to the December 7, 2024 polls claimed his party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would not hand over power to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) because he believed they were going to emerge victorious at the polls.
“You said it will never happen. It will never happen, you’ve forgotten,” he teased.
Although it is unclear what really caused the exchange between the two MPs, Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed got the last laugh.
