Former Black Stars midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari has described the Ghana Premier League as a big hole with no future.
According to Sulley Muntari, the Ghana Premier League is now a big hole into which money is being pumped into.
The player who had a short stint with Accra Hearts of Oak indicated that the league was a complete mess, citing the Black Stars struggle to recruit players from the local league as one of the effects of the poor quality of the league.
“I enjoyed my time at Hearts of Oak, the fans were amazing but the league is a big hole with money being thrown into it but it has no future. It was a mess when I was there and it’s even worse now.”
“I’m hoping that things will change and I’m doing my work to get some funds to help them because we won’t get quality Black Stars players if we don’t help,” Sulley Muntari said.
Sulley Muntari won the President’s Cup with Hearts of Oak after beating Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Accra Hearts of Oak.
