A young boy has been caught in the act using pages of the Quran as tissue paper.
The boy, name withheld was caught red handed by some Muslim youth in Washington, a suburb of Ashaiman.
According to reports, the Muslim youth had observed with frequency the incidence in which unidentified person(s) used pages of the Quran as tissue in a bush frequently used by locals for defecation.
They then took it upon themselves to lay in wait to identify the culprit.
Eventually, they caught the young boy coming to defecate with pages of the Quran as his tissue paper.
Infuriated at the level of disrespect, they took the boy to the mosque and questioned him.
It was through the interrogation that the boy confessed he tore the pages of his father’s Quran and used it as his tissue paper, alleging he did not know it was a holy book.
The Muslim youth upon this revelation decided to take him to the local imam for enlightenment and advise.
