Few hours after the successful inauguration of president-elect, John Dramani Mahama, portraits of Akufo-Addo are already being removed.
In a video shared on X, Akufo-Addo’s portrait was removed from the wall of the lobby of what seems to be an unidentified hotel.
In the coming days, the portraits of John Dramani Mahama will be seen hanging in lobbies and offices across Ghana.
Some 21 Heads of Stated from Africa and beyond attended the inauguration ceremony of President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Information, three (3) Vice Presidents, 4 Ministers and 24 envoys were also invited to attend the inauguration ceremony as well.
The inauguration also saw some religious leaders, celebrities and influential Ghanaians in attendance.
