Two armed robbers rob MoMo vendor of over GH₵30,000

Two armed robbers have robbed a MoMo vendor at Amanfrom in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region of over GH₵30,000.

The MoMo vendor identified as Clara Quainoo was attacked at gun point and a knife.

According to reports the incident occurred around 7:00 pm on Monday.

Clara Quainoo speaking to the media revealed the robbers were on a motorbike stopped and attacked her in her shop with her sister.

Clara stated, “One of the suspects pulled out a pistol on my sister, while the other wielded a knife and demanded we hand over our money”.

Reports suggest the MoMo vendor sustained knife wounds on her left hand and was receiving treatment at a health facility.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has initiated an investigation into the robbery incident.
