It has been revealed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) printed clothes to celebrate their victory ahead of the December 7, 2024 general elections.
In a video shared on X, the official photographers of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was seeing wearing a Bawumia t-shirt and was holding the victory cloth.
He could be heard in the video asking their female fans to send them direct messages on their social media platforms to receive four yards of the cloth prior to the elections.
Although they were confident of Dr. Bawumia winning the elections, that was far from the reality.
The whereabouts of the clothes the party printed to celebrate their victory which never happened is unknown.
Netizens could not control themselves after the video popped up with many going back to troll the NPP and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who was the presidential candidate for the party in the December 7, 2024 elections.
Ghana’s electoral commission declared ex-president and main opposition leader John Dramani Mahama winner of Saturday’s presidential election with 6,328,397, representing 56.55% of the total vote cast while the vice president and presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, secured 4, 657, 304, representing 41.61%.
