A leading member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Kwame Jantuah, has sounded an alarm of a likely dumsor coming up.
According to Kwame Jantuah, the information he received suggests that the Akufo-Addo told WAPCO to wait till January before they pick up the gas line that brings gas into Ghana.
Speaking on TV3’s New Day Kwame Jantuah revealed, “I am trying to get the information but what I hear is that WAPCO, they were supposed to pick the gas line that brings gas in, this government told them to wait till January they were supposed to do it in last December and they didn’t do it”.
“There could likely be dumsor coming up, I hope I can get all the information, but that is what I am hearing”, he added.
Kwame Jantuah further revealed he hoped the Akufo-Addo government is not trying to set up the incoming government with dumsor.
“I hope that this government is not trying to set up President Mahama’s government, I hope not but we will get the information, and we will see”, he stated.
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo yesterday during his SONA address on January 3, 2025, boldly stated he is leaving the office of government with the lights on.
