Chairperson of the Operation Recover All Loot team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has praised the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) for going after their debtors.

He described the management of GACL as “smart” for contributing to the incoming John Mahama administrations ORAL and ensuring corrupt and underhand dealings are not tolerated.

His comments follows a letter from GACL to McDan Shipping Company, demanding the company pays them a substandtial debt owed GACL.

In the letter shared on X by Okudzeto Ablakwa, GACL acknowledged receipt of a Ghc2m cheque issued by McDan Shipping Company to them, but however states the amount is less than 5% of the total debt owed GACL.

GACL in the letter further urged McDan Shipping Company to take immediate action to settle all outstanding debt.

Okudzeto shared the letter with the post, “It’s refreshing to see some smart outgoing public officials suddenly smell the coffee and begin the implementation of President Mahama’s Operation-Recover-All-Loot even before January 7, 2025. The power of change! Apart from MacDan, the management of GACL should recover all others from Frontiers, CIP, Heaven Builders & the putrefying Car Park deals. Together, we shall RESET Ghana.”

The McDan Group of Companies seems to be indebted heavily to the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL).

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has locked up the McDan Aviation Private Jet Terminal, also known as Terminal 1 yesterday, December 31, 2024 over the company’s failure to settle a debt exceeding $3 million owed to GACL.

The letter to McDan shipping adds to the woes of the group as GACL is on their neck demanding debts owed them in excess of millions of cedis to be settled.
