A netizen has reacted to a video of the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo Addo seen in a moment walking out on the Speaker of Parliament while mumbling.
According to the X user identified as Weffrey Jellington the Akufo-Addo government hates being told how horrible they have been which he described as funny because all metrics showed they have been horrible.
Rebecca Akufo in the video was captured mumbling while walking out of parliament after the State of the Nation Address.
She was heard saying, “You sit there and allow people speak to …anyhow”.
The first lady mumblings come after the Deputy Minority Leader, Armah Kofi Buah ‘cooked’ President Akufo-Addo after he delivered his final SONA.
Armah Kofi Buah in parliament stated, “You were cushioned by the IMF when you began, and you are still being cushioned at the end of your term”.
“Let me remind his excellency honorable speaker, that his tenure in office will remain a timely reminder of how not to govern a country but let me also be quick to assure the good people of Ghana that hope is on its way”, Kofi Buah added.
Reacting to the development in parliament the netizen wrote on X, “That video with the First Lady really kills me bro. They really hate being told how horrible they’ve been. And it’s funny because honestly, by all metrics, they’ve been horrible. Like i don’t know if it’s just our culture but other countries would openly call them out way more than this”.
