The man identified as Oluwa stormed the stadium because the workers were yet to leave the office and are registering vendors which they claim is against the rules.

Meanwhile, President John Dramani Mahama has urged the NDC regional and constituency chairmen to call the NDC youths to order.

John Mahama noted that in 2017, just after handing over power, the NPP attacked state institutions, seized properties, and assaulted public officers.

According to John Mahama, the NDC supporters must not do the same thing and must show Ghanaians that the NDC is different.

John Mahama made this known at the presidential dinner yesterday January 8, 2025, he stated, “I know that in 2017 that is what the NPP, and after we lost that election as soon as we handed over, they started to attack government offices take over tolling booths, public toilets, go to government offices and throw people out, stop people on the streets and take car from them”.

“We must not do the same thing let us show Ghana that we are different, I know that a lot of our youths sacrificed to make the party worthy but I know that our regional and constituency executives know who helped to achieve this victory and what we must be doing is to compile a list of such people and what possibility they are so we can engage their youthful energy when things have settled”, he added.

John Mahama further called on regional and constituency chairmen to call the youths to order.

“Rather than take the law into our hands, let us show the NPP we are different and let us win the confidence Ghanaians repost on us, so I expect the regional chairman and constituency chairmen to call our young people to call the young people in order”, he reiterated.
