Ghana music legend, Tic Tac has taken a swipe at organizers of the NDC’s victory party scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025.
The musician who was obviously displeased by the party’s decision to remove Stonebwoy from performing at the concert had somethings to take off his chest.
According to him, the excuse from organizers for the removal of Stonebwoy from the concert is flimsy and does not hold water.
Portions of a post he made on his official X handle read, “If anything, at all, give a better explanation than this..”
He chastised organizers for dropping the musician whom they had already billed for the event adding, “This country errr… We shall never learn from our mistakes. Why drop Stonebwoy if you already billed him to perform at the victory concert.”
Organizers of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Ghana Victory Concert have announced the removal of Stonebwoy from the list of performers for the event.
In a statement released on Friday, January 3, 2025, the organizers explained that the decision was prompted by a public campaign from netizens calling for the artiste’s exclusion, as well as concerns raised by party grassroot.
They stated, “Responding to public sentiments and feedback from the party’s grassroots, we have decided to remove Stonebwoy from the concert lineup.”
