“Sit down and relax” – A Plus orders MP

Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) recently ordered a colleague MP to relax and wait for his turn when the latter tried to interrupt him during his submission in parliament.

While addressing the Speaker of Parliament, the MP, who remains unknown tried to interrupt him and A-Plus quickly bellowed; “sit down and relax.”

While addressing the Speaker, Kwame A-Plus mentioned, “Mr. Speaker, I have a few people to congratulate, but I am being informed that I should hold off on my submission because some of the individuals on the list have not been confirmed yet.”

The Speaker, seeking clarification, asked, “Do you mean I should call the next person because your information is not yet ready?”

As Honorable Kwame A-Plus was readying his answer for the Speaker, an unidentified MP attempted to interrupt him, but A-Plus told him, “Sit down!! Relax, my Chip whip told me what to do, and you are not the Speaker. Relax and sit down.”

The floor of parliament erupted into an uproar following A-Plus’ comments.
