An X user only identified as Uncle Paa Kwesi has described Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu (MP) as a “sellout”.
This comment comes on the back of Haruna Iddrisu siding with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) minority caucus to demand an apology from the Acting CEO of the Petroleum Commission Emeafa Hardcastle for calling Frank Annoh-Dompreh (MP) “a silly child”.
According to Uncle Paa Kwesi, the leadership of the NDC long before this knew Haruna Iddrisu was a traitor, hence their decision to quickly remove him as minority leader in 2023.
“Why do you think Asiedu Nketsiah Changed Harura Iddrisu from the parliamentary leadership position sellout,” Uncle Paa Kwesi wrote on his X page.
Haruna Iddrisu has come under heavy criticism from members of his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for publicly condemning Emeafa Hardcastle for her confrontation with Frank Annoh-Dompreh,
According to them , he should have protected Emeafa rather than throw in his lot with the opposition.
His actions have garnered suspicion from the grassroots as they believe he is in cahoots with the NPP.
