Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has denied claims he snubbed colleague Kofi Mole’s request to shoot a video for a song he collaborated on titled ‘Makoma’.
Reacting to claims he failed to show up for a scheduled music video with Kofi Mole on two different occasions, Sarkodie indicated that he had no idea about an invitation for a video shoot.
He added that even if there was such an invitation, he suspects there might have been a “miscommunication” somewhere leading to his failure to show up on set on the said occasions.
Responding to the allegation on his X, he wrote, “Yaa monma me din nda kakra me sr3 mo … have no idea about this and if it actually happened there was miscommunication somewhere only responding to this cos I got love for my superstar @kofi_mole.”
Sarkodie clarified that he is committed to his work and does not take it lightly. “I don’t play games … I’m in or not”
Kofi Mole disclosed on a post on X that several attempts to get Sarkodie to be featured in the music video proved futile as the rapper showed no concern.
“I was ready to shoot a video but never got any response from Sark and the team after multiple texts and calls. I let that slide,” he wrote on X.
Director for the ‘Mokoma’ music video confirmed the allegations of Kofi Mole, revealing that Sarkodie failed to show up on two different dates for the video shoot.
