Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, Provost of UCC’s College of Education has been named the new Director-General of Ghana Education Service (GES).

His appointment follows the news of Dr Eric Nkansah’s sacking by President John Mahama.

Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis according to the information gathered holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from Hiroshima University in Japan.
