Professor Ransford Gyampo a Political Science lecturer has warned President John Dramani Mahama not to disappoint Ghanaians after he took the oath of office yesterday January 7, 2025.

The Professor alluded to the fact that Cheers greeting Burkinabe Leader Captain Ibrahim Traore points to Ghanaians yearning for drastic changes and it is now the turn for John Mahama to deliver.

According to Prof. Ransford Gyampo, he knows President John Dramani Mahama Values the huge mandate and must not disappoint Ghanaians.

Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traore attended the inauguration of Ghana’s President John Mahama.

In one of his rare foreign trips, President Traore enjoyed the privileges of being allowed to wear his military uniform, carry a pistol, and have his own armed personal security.

He received loud cheers from the Ghanaian crowd.

Reacting to the applause, Prof. Ransford Gyampo wrote in a social media post.

“The presence of the Burkinabe Leader and the cheers that greeted the mentioning of his name points to the yearning of Ghanaians for drastic changes. Over to you, President Mahama. I know you value the huge mandate. Don’t disappoint”, he stated.

Prof. Ransford Gyampo asserted that the Ghanaian people have seen the transformation he is causing in Burkina Faso after taking over the leadership of the country hence the loud cheers he received.
