President John Dramani Mahama has named Dr James Klutse Avedzi as the acting Director-General of SEC.

This follows Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh’s being relieved of his duties as Director-General of the Ghana Securities and Exchange Commission.
The former MP appointment was communicated through an official letter signed by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama.
Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh has been directed to hand over his responsibilities to Dr. James Klutse Avedzi.
The reason for the termination of Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh was not provided in the letter.
