The Office of the President has announced the release of President John Dramani Mahama’s official portrait.
This portrait will be the official picture to be used in Ministries, Departments and State Agencies.
“The portrait captures the essence of President Mahama’s leadership and commitment to the people of Ghana.”
“It will serve as a symbol of national pride and unity, reflecting the values and aspirations of our great nation,” portions of the statement read.
He quickly indicated that the government “HAS NOT AND WILL NOT” contract any company or individual to produce framed pictures of the official portrait in bulk for distribution.
The pictures of former President Akufo-Addo were removed from the flagstaff house and other state agencies prior to the swearing in ceremony of President Mahama.
