Speaking on Asempa FM, Salam Mustapha stated, “ That is the level of confidence, and I wanted my party people, to know that look we are not down, OB do you honestly think if the results were close we would have easily led go? Do you think? Just let it go like that, I am not sure we would have lost if the results were close”.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) revealed he rejected advice from his team not to concede defeat early in the 2024 elections.

According to Dr. Bawumia, some of the people on his team were saying you can’t go out to concede and stated they didn’t know if all the data was right.
