Prof Kwabena Dei Ofori Attah, Associate Professor of Education at Central State University, warned President John Mahama that the NPP is a defeated dog and should not be blamed.
According to the Professor, the NDC won power by blaming everybody, now they have power they should focus and get the work done.
He added that the NDC now has power, and nobody will accept the blame games.
Speaking on Accra-based OKAY FM, Prof Kwabena Dei Ofori Attah stated, “Never ever blame NPP, nobody will accept it. NPP is a defeated dog, a bitten dog, a humiliated power. They want to come back as early as 2028 so if Mahama wants to succeed, he should forget about the problems and move ahead”.
“They won power by blaming everybody. They blamed the EC; they blamed this and that but enough is enough. Now they have the power do not entertain them. They have the power period. They can go to the World Bank to take a loan because this is not the first time Mahama is taking overpower. He is experienced and knows the problems of the country so he should focus and get the work done,” he added.
Prof Kwabena Dei Ofori Attah also added that in John Mahama 120 days of social contract with the people he didn’t see the nkokonkitinkiti policy.
“In his first 120 days of social contract with the people, I didn’t see any program for his nkokonkitinkiti. We have not seen his promise to reduce the prices of goods and services in the country. He should ensure he fulfils the promises to the people of Ghana and stop the blame game”, he revealed.
Meanwhile, the John Mahama government according to GRIDCo reports require $89.90m to procure liquid fuel to avert looming dumsor.
