Ace broadcast Journalist Captain Smart has boldly stated the New Patriotic Party(NPP) boycotting Media General platforms is a senseless move.
According to Captain Smart, Media General does not need the NPP.
The New Patriotic Party has withdrawn from all Media General’s platforms, including TV3, 3 FM, and Onua FM.
The party’s communications director, Richard Ahiagbah communicated through a press release issued on January 26 made this known.
According to the NPP, this follows months of supposed failed attempts to address concerns over biased and unprofessional conduct by Media General hosts and management.
Speaking on Onua TV, Captain Smart stated, “And who said we need you, this place you will come by yourself, don’t tell Kennedy Kankam anything, this does not matter to anyone, then they should tell Afenyo Markin and the rest to boycott the vetting committee because when Afenyo Markin goes to sit there we are going to record him live”.
“Is Afenyo Markin’s lizard child, is he not an NPP member, the NPP has collapsed, it is not a childish move, it is a senseless move, let us throw this thing away, we don’t need to waste our time with this thing on TV”, he added.
Captain Smart further added, “When we were doing our campaign to bring Mahama the NPP were not coming here, we didn’t need them. The party that has been destroyed if they joke with me they would lose thirteen more elections”.
“We give thanks to God that you have boycotted it, God bless you, we don’t need you so boycott it”, he added.
