Nigerian musician, Davido took to his official X page to congratulate President John Dramani Mahama after he was inaugurated as the country’s president yesterday, January 7, 2025.
He wrote on his X page, “Congratulations President John Mahama” adding the Ghana flag and a love emoji to his message.
It is not known if the music star has any relationship or connection to the Mahama family but his post generated some conversations and reactions from his followers, both Ghanaians and Nigerians alike.
The swearing in ceremony took place at the Black Stars Square, Accra and was graced by the presence of notable leaders from across Africa, including Davido’s uncle, Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke.
Ghana also celebrated the historic moment when Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was sworn in as the nation’s first female vice president.
