NDC will battle the EC’s re-collation till casket – Tanko-Computer

Dr. Rashid Tanko the deputy National Election Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has boldly stated the Electoral Commission of Ghana’s re-collation process is illegal.

According to Dr. Rashid Tank, the NDC will battle the EC’s re-collation till casket.

Dr. Rashid Tank is quoted by GHONE TV to have stated, “The EC’s re-collation process is illegal, we (NDC) will battle it till casket”.

On Sunday, 5th January 2025, after the Accra High Court ordered the EC to complete the collation of all results and declare the winner the EC official declared the results for Okaikwei Central with Patrick Yaw Boamah was declared winner, in Tema Central Ebi Bright, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate narrowly lost the election, Techiman South was also declared for the NPP.

For the Ablekuma North, the EC has indefinitely suspended the collation of results the constituency has 62 outstanding polling stations, 42 of which have been cleared.

Meanwhile, the newly elected Members of Parliament in the December polls will be sworn in at midnight today January 6, 2025, to signify the commencement of the 9th Parliament.

In the inaugural session, there will be the election of a speaker of parliament and two deputy Speakers for the 9TH Parliament.
