A netizen has sent a warning to the education minister Haruna Iddrisu following his condemnation of Emeafa Hardcastle.
According to the netizen, the NDC grassroots hates someone who doesn’t stand with them.
The netizen noted the way Haruna Iddrisu is moving he would likely end up like Alan Kyeremanten who was overlooked by the NPP grassroots for Dr Bawumia.
He cautioned should Haruna Iddrisu continue with his ways he might be the favourite of Ghanaians but not the NDC’s flagbearer in future.
The netizen asserted that what the NDC grassroots hates is someone who doesn’t stand with them.
He wrote on X, “ The way Haruna Iddrisu is moving, he’ll likely be like Alan Cash. He’ll be Ghanaians favourite but he might not be NDC’s Flagbearer.
He forget party’s base must elect him first. What the NDC grassroots hate is some who don’t stand with them. The nhwehw3 anim is too much.😎😎”.
The netizen comments come after Haruna Iddrisu (MP) chastised the CEO of the Petroleum Commission, Emeafa Hardcastle for “insulting” Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh.
Haruna Iddrisu stated in parliament, “To Honourable Members, we do not, and we should not, accept such conduct and insults. Today, it is him; tomorrow, it may be you. That is why we must stand united in condemning it”
“To the Honourable Minority Whip [Frank Annoh-Dompreh], I am pleading with you that, because she is a woman, and you know Ghanaian society and our patriarchal values, forgive her”, he added.
