US based Ghanaian social commentator; Kevin Taylor has labelled Minister-designate for The Interior, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak as someone who cannot be trusted to keep secrets.
Kevin Taylor wrote on his X page, “Muntaka is a waste of time one of the biggest “rats” in the NDC.”
His post follows an incident during the vetting of Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak when he was asked by Alexander Afenyo Markin (MP) “Are you ready to enter your casket with some dirt for the sake of your country?”
Rather than simply answering the question, Muntaka went to dredge up a conversation no one had ask him to bring up.
“I will just give one example to reiterate this. I believe minority leader you knew how we elected Mr. Speaker into office. Everybody in this country has done everything humanly possible to know including the security agencies I believe, to know which of the NPP MPs supported us to elect Mr. Speaker but they don’t know. You can only guess, you can’t say you know”
“I work with people and I have vowed that not even my wife will know this; I will die with it and I meant it,” he said.
Kevin Taylor however believes this is not something he should have revealed or even used as an example for his level of discretion.
